What's inside of me
What's inside of me?
I'm afraid to take a look,
The mistakes I have made-
would fill up a book.
I'd rather kept it hidden,
from the world out there,
So I've put on a facade,
and pretended not to care.
Lots of garbage I don't like,
garbage in-garbage out,
Seems to be my plight.
When the garbage comes out,
I must admit it reeks,
I'm hurting-so i hurt others,
with the words that I speak!
I've tried not to let it go,
When I talk it just slips out,
no matter where I go!
I try to hide my feelings,
so they won't be detected,
I try to be positive, But always seem to be neglected!
A wounded little child,
that longs to be loved,
